What does the Center's alternative approach to cancer treatment involve?
Cancer treatment: What type of treatment might be suitable in my case?
When our cancer patients visit the Kehl Cancer Center for their initial treatment, this takes one week (Monday to Friday) and is delivered on an outpatient basis. On the first day of the visit, Dr. Hartung will compile an individual treatment plan and commence the course of treatment. The main anticancer therapies we use in the fight against cancer are:
- Vitamin B 17 infusions
- Vitamin C infusions
- Local hyperthermia (heat therapy using the Oncotherm EHY2000)
- Cell therapy using cell extracts
- Oncolytic Virotherapy
- Curcuma Infusions
Our Center also offers cell therapy treatments (injections of cell extracts), an additional treatment option that is recommended for patients with more advanced disease.
The treatment options listed above will be combined and adapted in such a way as to meet the specific needs of the individual patient.
How long do treatments take?
Depending on the type of anticancer therapy used, you will spend between 1 and 3 hours in treatment per day. Your cancer treatment will be monitored by members our highly-trained staff, who will be happy to assist you with any questions, concerns or worries that you may have. All of our cancer treatments are relaxing and very well tolerated, and can be combined with conventional treatments options (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy). Our treatment should be repeated every 3-6 months.
Treatment fees will be calculated in line with those stipulated in the German Medical Fee Index (GOÄ).

If you are traveling from far away, we would recommend that you book into a local apartment or hotel in Kehl or Strasbourg. Staying locally his will help to avoid any unnecessary stress or strain.
